Maintain or create a new framework

Anyone who owns a half-timbered house or a half-timbered barn has a cultural mission. Half-timbered houses shape our landscape and our sense of home. The half-timbered technology is definitely threatened with extinction. A well-maintained half-timbered house will last for many centuries. We still have houses today that are over 500 years old. As long as the roof of a half-timbered house is reasonably tight, the damage to the house is manageable and can be repaired by the builder himself with a little skill. Even if you think your house looks totally ruined. If you have the courage, improve your framework or add new fillings. We'll show you how it's done: With clay and straw and a coarse wickerwork made of wood. A job that is relaxed and fun. We always give courses. Contact us by e-mail.

With straw and clay

... and a couple of buckets can be a great way to repair the filling of a framework or create a new one. And preferably in spring / summer.

Grit and sand

.. are two other ingredients that make clay plaster. Finally, a lime plaster ensures good weather resistance.
